Travel and nature photographer and videographer.

Hi, my name is Ruben, and I work as a freelance photographer and documentary filmmaker, especialized in travel, nature, and landscapes.

Currently, my works can be found in magazines, advertising and documentary films produced by companies such as National Geographic, Discovery Channel, Lonely Planet, Conde Nast Traveller between others.

My works also can be watched in platforms like HBO, Netflix and other major media groups like Harpo, Havas media, Al Jazeera, CNN, Antena 3 between others.

I’ve been involved as a DP and director on documentary and promotional films like “The Txoko Experience”, “Australis”, “Transmongolian a long train journey” , “Good Morning Antarcticans” (2020), between others.

I’m a Getty Images artist and collaborator.

I’ve been producer and director of the technology TV series Nick dut Nick, broadcasted in Eitb (Basque public television).

I’ve offered different talks and masterclasses in UPV/EHU or Universidad de Cantabria.

Nowadays when I’m not on a journey, I live in a small rural village in northern Spain (León Province, Spain) where I live surrounded by extraordinary people and landscapes.

About living in rural areas I’ve done a TEDx talk in León city where I explain my experience.
