Corre sube, que se nos escapa el sol!. No es fácil subir corriendo con todo el equipo a 2000 metros para poder ver estas vistas del amanecer, y por poco, no llegamos. Nunca pensé que la fotografía me mantendría en forma 🙂.

Run up, the sun escapes us !. It is not easy to run with all the equipment to 2000 meters to be able to see these views of the sunrise, and we almost did not make it. I never thought photography would keep me in shape 🙂.

Las manos congeladas, incluso con guantes. Esta mañana de lunes hacía mucho frío. Pero la helada era el motivo de la foto y eso requiere sufrir un poco. A poco más de -7ºC a las 6:30 de la mañana comenzaba una subida nocturna en busca del amanecer sobre Picos de Europa. El objetivo era llegar cerca del pico Gildar. Todo estaba congelado. Al menos la subida nos hizo entrar en calor. Hay muchas fotos, irán llegando... hoy os dejo con Peña Santa como protagonista con las primeras luces del alba.

Frozen hands, even with gloves. This Monday morning it was very cold. But the frost was the reason for the photo and that requires suffering a little. At just over -7ºC at 6:30 in the morning a night climb began in search of sunrise over Picos de Europa. The goal was to get close to Gildar Peak. Everything was frozen. At least the climb warmed us up. There are many photos, they will be arriving ... today I leave you with Peña Santa as the protagonist with the first light of dawn.

Estar al amanecer en el alto de una montaña significa comenzar a caminar de noche, cruzar bosques a oscuras y ver como el cielo pasa del azul al rojo mientras intentas no perder el ritmo de subida para poder llegar a tiempo. A veces hay suerte y la salida del sol es lo que veis en las fotos :). Incluso los rebecos tienen su contraluz.

Being at dawn on the top of a mountain means starting to walk at night, crossing dark forests and watching the sky go from blue to red while trying not to lose the rhythm of the climb to be able to arrive on time. Sometimes you are lucky and the sunrise is what you see in the photos :). Even the chamois have their backlight.

La predicción meteorológica dice que en unos días tendremos un nuevo golpe de nieve en las montañas. Primavera que no llega. Pero, cuando llegue, despediremos estas imágenes invernales hasta el final del año. Últimas fotos que darán paso a otro tipo de fotografía, más verde, más viva, más vibrante.

The weather forecast says that in a few days we will have a new blow of snow in the mountains. Spring doesn't start. But when it comes, we will say goodbye to these winter images until the end of the year. These latest photos will give way to another type of photography, greener, more alive, more vibrant.
